First time mom at 40 who spent the last 20 years counseling parents and kids. Knowledge vs. experience is clashing full force right now as I am attempting to live out the titles of wife, mom, and stepmom while keeping an eternal perspective through it all.  It hasn't been boring. There's been lots of tears and laughter. I mess up... a lot. But I love my family!
